AMPLFY ("we", "us", or "our") operates the AMPLFY mobile application and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name, username, email address, password (hashed), and (for artists) stage name, profile picture, and bio.
• Content you upload: audio recordings, cover art, posts, comments, lyrics, and direct messages.
• Payment information: processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Device permissions: if you choose to use them, AMPLFY accesses your device's camera and microphone for livestreaming, and your photo library for profile pictures and cover art uploads.
• Usage data: basic interaction data such as plays, likes, follows, and tip history, used to power the app's social features.

How We Use Your Information

• To operate the Service (account login, uploads, streaming, tipping, messaging, livestreaming).
• To process payments and artist payouts via Stripe.
• To send transactional notifications (new followers, tips, messages, livestream invites).
• To prevent abuse, fraud, and copyright infringement.

Camera and Microphone

Camera and microphone access are only used while you are actively in a livestream and only after you grant permission. AMPLFY never records, stores, or transmits camera or microphone data outside of an active livestream session you have started or joined.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Stripe — for payment and payout processing.
• LiveKit — to deliver real-time video and audio during livestreams.
• Replit Object Storage — to host your uploaded audio and images.
• Resend — to send transactional emails.
• Law enforcement — only when legally required.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated content by emailing the address below.

Children

AMPLFY is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Your Choices

• Revoke camera, microphone, photo, or notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
• Request deletion of your account by contacting us.
• Opt out of non-essential email notifications from your profile settings.
